Monday and back to my "job". Therefore, not too much time for quilting today!
I called and signed up for a "Beginning Hand Applique" class, scheduled for October 17, 2009. Spent my lunch hour reading the class text, Hand Applique with Alex Anderson. It sure was fun to daydream about fabric purchases! I think bright batiks against bright white would make a beautiful Color Sampler (see pg.21)
Received a call from Mary Tims that she has completed quilting the batik quilt for my father-in-law's 70th Birthday. My husband choose a fish motif so it should be fun. I can't wait to pick it up. Unfortunately, I have to start the hand binding which takes me a long time! I intend to present it to him on November 7th. Pray that I become a faster binder!
