It's the first Sunday of the month! It's the first Sunday of the month!
Therefore, I enjoyed my Quilting Sunday School Class at the Quilt Patch. I am especially grateful for this class! It's led by Lesely-Claire Greenberg. She is incredibly knowledgeable and more than eager to help students learn new techniques. Each student is able to bring ANY project that they are working on, in ANY stage of completion, to obtain help. As a new quilter, this class has been instrumental in helping me transition from UFO (Unfinished Objects) to full fledged quilts and a sweatshirt jacket. Today, I am one step away from completing a beautiful Kona Bay inspired Asian fabric quilt that will be a surprise Christmas gift. Yes, it's October and it is almost complete!
I also found a contrast fabric for the Professional Tote. It's dark purple and it came from the Quilt Patch Dog House, where end-of-bolt-fabrics go at a specially reduced price. What more could a girl ask for? A need a few more notions in order be begin working on the Tote. Therefore, I need to make a trip to Hancock Fabrics sometime soon.
